Wedding Venues

• Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club in Gainesville, Virginia – this is where our lead photographer Emily had her own wedding reception in 2018!

• Fleetwood Farm Winery in Leesburg, Virginia – this winery recently built a gorgeous modern barn-style reception building on property and the grounds are beautiful

• The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards in Leesburg, Virginia – rustic barn setting meets classy winery

• Oatlands Historic House and Gardens in Leesburg, Virginia – stunning gardens make this the perfect place to have a first look/first touch prayer together, bride and groom portraits, and outdoor cocktail hour

• Raspberry Plain Manor in Leesburg, Virginia – timeless venue with a large, beautiful ballroom and romantic gardens on property

• Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia – this is one of the largest hotel complexes in the area and every space on the property is classy and beautiful

• Old Town Hall in Fairfax, Virginia – this underrated property is a great neutral backdrop with historic charm right in the middle of the city

• Harbour View in Woodbridge, Virginia – romantic indoor venue right on the water

• Westwood Golf and Country Club in Vienna, Virginia – tucked away in Vienna, this venue has a lovely ballroom and beautiful golf course

• Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland – don’t let the name fool you; this park is a historic amusement park complete with fully operational carousel and plenty of charming spots around the property for photos and celebrations!

• Faithbrooke Barn & Vineyard – with a recent paint job that makes it perfectly bridal, this gorgeous barn venue is on an even more gorgeous property!

• The Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia – if incredible food and gorgeous mountain views in a quaint historic town are your vibe, this tiny but impactful venue is perfect for you

• Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Kent Island, Maryland – a classy beach venue here in the DMV

• Herrington on the Bay in North Beach, Maryland – this beach venue has a stunning outdoor ceremony site!

• Manor Country Club in Rockville, Maryland – classic country club venue with a beautiful property and friendly staff

Wedding Planners and Day-Of Coordinators

• The One Moment Events – we’ve worked with lead coordinator Moriah on multiple weddings and she always does a fabulous job, from her creativity to her cool demeanor when there are last minute changes to the day. They are our top recommendation!

• Passionate Weddings – lead planner Diana and her team are incredible professional and organized. They’re also able to provide Spanish/English bilingual support!

• Vows and Vines Events – one of our favorite weddings had an absolutely perfect day in part because this team kept everything perfectly on track – you hardly knew they were there because they did their job so well

• Events to Woo – lead coordinator Joanne was friendly and professional while managing a wedding day with a lot of moving parts and a lot of DIY setup to pull off an absolutely perfect day for our clients!

Hair and Makeup Artists

• JSL Visions – lead artist Judy did hair and makeup for our lead photographer Emily’s own wedding day back in 2018, as well as her personal first anniversary portrait session and multiple Beauty of the Soul Studio brides

• Swept LLC – our client looked flawless all day thanks to this team

• Sandra Makeup Artistry – another talented artist whose work lasted all day for our happy bride

• By Astrid M – Astrid did an amazing job with hair and makeup on one of our 2020 brides

Cake/Bakery

• Bijou’s Sweet Treats – hands down one of the most talented bakeries serving Northern Virginia. Their cakes are stunning!

• Fluffy Thoughts Cakes – all you have to do is look at their Instagram to see what all the fuss is about – their cakes are beautiful and delicious

• Wanda’s Cakes – our lead photographer Emily used Wanda’s Cakes for her own wedding in 2018 and absolutely loved working with Wanda. She’s even sweeter than her cakes!

• Amphora Bakery – a staple in Northern Virginia, they deliver some of the most beautiful cakes in the area

DJs/Music

• TTR Studios – DJ Adam Luccio is full of energy, knows how to read the room to keep the party going, and isn’t afraid to have a little fun down on the dance floor with your guests

• Zandi Entertainment – our lead photographer Emily had one of their associate DJs at her own wedding in 2018, and their owner DJ Romin was extremely professional to work with

• iD Pro DJ – lead DJ and co-owner Bobby Dawson was one of the most entertaining and professional DJs we’ve ever worked with!

• DJ Jeff Lang at Extraordinary Entertainment – Jeff is a super cool dude who did an excellent job managing ceremony & reception music for a small wedding while having a ton of fun!

Wedding Dress Boutique and/or Alterations

• St. Anthony’s Bridal – Multiple brides we’ve photographed have gotten stunning designer dresses at a deep discount thanks to this amazing bridal shop!

• Rosalin’s Bridal – Their lead seamstress Wanda did an incredibly job on some difficult alterations for our lead photographer Emily, and their whole store is friendly and beautiful

• Cherie’s Sustainable Bridal – Multiple brides we’ve photographed have worked with CSB for their dress and have always been thrilled with the results

Wedding Rings/Bridal Jewelry

• Dominion Jewelers – Support a local jewelry store in Falls Church, Virginia while getting the most high-quality jewelry for your big day. Lead photographer Emily and her husband used Dominion Jewelers to create a custom engagement ring, wedding bands, bridal necklace, and cufflinks.
