Sophisticated Westfields Marriott Wedding – Chantilly, Virginia – Cindy and Bruce

Cindy and Bruce met through their group of friends who all went to the same high school. They all still hang out together decades after graduation! Cindy was a regular member of the group, and one day someone brought Bruce along. It was practically love at first sight, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

They planned their dream fall wedding at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia. Westfields Marriott is one of the most popular hotel wedding venues in Northern Virginia. The hotel is huge and has multiple location options for your ceremony and reception. Cindy and Bruce chose to have their ceremony and reception in the Fairfax Dining Room. It was the perfect classy, neutral space for the couple to make their own and I was so impressed by how grand it looked when it all came together.

Cindy and her bridesmaids got ready in the presidential suite on the property. She wore a beautiful custom wedding gown. It was originally a sleeveless gown with a long train, and she had it altered to remove the long train and convert it into sleeves. You would have no idea just by looking at it because it was altered so perfectly! She also wore a beautiful pair of Manolo Blahnik heels, and a beautiful hair comb to complete the look.

Cindy changed into a gorgeous bridal jumpsuit during the reception and her bridesmaids changed into dark blue jumpsuits to match their dresses. They had so much fun on the dance floor once they had changed!

The reception band, Retrospect, was a blast! They played so many good songs and had people dancing throughout the night. Near the end of the reception, they even came out from behind the stage to dance among the guests and everyone had a blast. Having a live band at your wedding is always a great way to keep your guests on the dance floor and keep the party going all night long!
