Delaney and Christian are finally married! They met on Tinder, and dated for a few years before Christian popped the question at home over pancakes. A romantic and casual setting that was perfect for them. They had their dream wedding day with their friends and family in the fall at Harbour View Events in Woodbridge, VA.

I got to meet these two before their wedding day at their engagement session. They had the dreamiest, romantic engagement session at Green Spring Gardens Park. Check out some of my favorites on their blog post! It made me know they’d have the most adorable wedding day portraits, and I was right!

One of my favorite moments from their wedding day was their first look. They had a precious first look along a private pathway near the water. Watching their smiles as they got closer and closer together, and then when Christian finally got to see Delaney was priceless.

At their wedding ceremony, they featured numerous close family members helping them to “tie the knot” with ribbons around their hands. Each family member would come up and start the knot of a new ribbon. It was a beautiful unity ceremony to symbolize the tying of the knot and the beginning of their families becoming one.

They had an absolutely crazy party for their reception at Harbour View Events! They had a wide variety of music and tons of dancing, including a huge conga line led by the father of the bride. They decorated the inside of the reception hall with lots of candles and string lights, giving it a romantic and fun feel for the night.

Delaney and Christian opted for some night portraits featuring sparklers, and on our way back inside we couldn’t help but stop under the string lights at the entrance to the venue too. Sneaking out for a few nighttime portraits is one of my favorite things to do at wedding receptions!

At the end of their reception, Delaney and Christian stayed behind while their guests lined up for their sparkler exit and the two of them shared a private last dance to I See The Light from Tangled. It was absolutely magical. I now recommend a private last dance for every couple! It was an incredible way for them to end the night just the two of them in their wedding space, soaking in the last memories of the night.

Congratulations, Delaney and Christian! I loved getting to photograph your engagement photos and wedding day. It was so lovely to meet your friends and family, and I am so excited for you two as you begin this new and exciting journey as husband and wife!
