Delaney and Christian met in 2016 on Tinder, and have been inseparable ever since! Online dating is definitely the most popular way my couples are meeting nowadays. Delaney attended Marymount University, my alma mater, so we have a handful of mutual friends. I love getting to photograph fellow MU alumni!

Christian proposed in 2020 while everyone was staying isolated due to the pandemic. Instead of going out in public for a proposal, Christian proposed over breakfast with pancakes. This proposal for them sounds so sweet, and perfect for the two of them and their personalities!

These two are adorable and so obviously head over heels for each other. I hardly had to prompt them during their session because they were such naturals in front of the camera. They were laughing, holding hands, stealing kisses, and being overall super cute. Some of my favorite images to capture are the naturally joyful ones. This made me especially excited for their wedding day portraits!

We did their engagement session at Green Spring Gardens Park, one of my absolute favorite portrait locations in Northern Virginia! It has beautiful gardens, a historic house, and pond with a gazebo. I talk more about it on my location spotlight page here!

Delaney and Christian had two outfit options for their spring engagement session. The first outfit Christian wore a blue denim shirt with khakis, and Delaney wore a white floral dress with blue heels. For their second outfit, they changed color palettes with a pink shirt, and a green and pink floral dress. I love when clients where flowy dresses to their engagement session! They are so flattering and photograph beautifully.
