As a practicing Catholic, I understand and respect the importance of including your faith in your wedding ceremony.
Whether you’re handfasting, receiving communion, reading from the Torah, or simply taking time to pray, celebrating the sacrament of marriage is about so much more than throwing a fun party.
My photography journey started while I was still in school, learning to take the family DSLR off “auto” mode. Shortly after, I began shadowing wedding photographers, taking time to soak in every bit of information I could.
At one wedding, I overheard the bride telling her friend that she initially didn’t want a wedding, but it ended up being a good party.
And in that moment, though I didn’t know it yet, Beauty of the Soul Studio was born.
I realized I didn’t just want to photograph a fun party—I wanted to work with couples who knew their wedding was about their marriage.
Now, I’ve taken and edited thousands of photos, and it never gets old.
Because the beauty of a wedding is the connection you have to each other and to the people who matter most to you.
It was clear from the start that Emily was always on our side and working for us, meaning that her work always demonstrated that she had our best interest at heart.
