Here’s the truth: you may not feel comfortable in front of the camera at first. That’s totally normal!
As your photographer, it’s my job to give you clear direction (when you need it) so you’ll never be left wondering where to put your hands.
I’ll also wrangle up everyone you want a photo with: rowdy groomsmen, energetic kids, grandma and grandpa, and everyone in between.

I’m a practicing Catholic, so I understand the importance of traditional religious weddings.
I have experience photographing many religious ceremonies at churches with varying levels of restrictions, and I feel incredibly comfortable photographing a Nuptial Mass.

Your wedding album will become a cherished family heirloom passed down from generation to generation.
But creating one yourself can be overwhelming. You don’t need another thing added to your post-wedding task list.
I’m happy to include a custom wedding album for every client who books 8 or more hours of photography coverage. I’ll handle the design, so all you need to do is review the proof before I send it off to print.
With a custom cover and a carefully curated collection of images, your album is truly one of a kind.
Once you’ve submitted an inquiry, I’ll send you additional information about my pricing. Then, we'll schedule a consultation to explore how we might celebrate your day together.

During our consultation (virtual or in-person), we'll chat about your story and wedding plans. I love hearing how you met, your proposal story, and what drew you to your venue! This helps me understand how to serve you best on your wedding day.

Getting to know you
Once you've chosen to celebrate with me and secured your wedding date, you'll receive a wedding experience guide and groom's guide in the mail. Your journey as a Beauty of the Soul couple officially begins!

Making it official
We'll capture stunning shots at a location of your choice (I handle all permit fees!). Engagement sessions last 45-90 minutes. And don’t worry if you’re uncomfortable in front of a camera—I'll guide you with clear direction, allowing us to take beautifully posed photos and capture genuine natural moments.
4.
Engagement session magic
I’m available throughout the planning process if you have questions or need advice! We'll finalize the important details three weeks before your celebration– your timeline (I’ll help you), family photo lists, and any special considerations.

Wedding preparation
My presence on wedding day is friendly and joyful– I’m so excited to celebrate you! I arrive early and keep everything organized and moving according to your timeline. I’ll blend into your day– capturing those sacred ceremony moments without interruption and directing only when needed for key photos.

Your wedding day
Within a couple of weeks, you'll receive a generous sneak peek with dozens of photos featuring highlights from every part of your celebration. Your full gallery of 800-1200 beautifully edited images arrives within 4-6 weeks, followed by your custom-designed heirloom album proof. Once you’ve approved, I’ll send it off for printing, review the physical album to make sure every detail is perfect, and you’ll receive it in the mail.

Yes! While I am based in Northern Virginia, I can travel anywhere for your wedding, and there are no separate travel fees.

For most weddings, I deliver around 100 images per hour of photography coverage (800-1200 total), though sometimes that number is significantly higher. There’s no upper limit on how many photos your gallery will include, and you’ll receive all the best images of the day.

Many of my clients choose to have a second photographer, and I have a few photographer friends who regularly work alongside me! Your second photographer will always be an experienced wedding photographer who can take my place in an emergency and is well-compensated for their time and expertise.

I take a "fly on the wall" approach for most of your day, letting natural moments unfold while staying attentive to key photo opportunities. During prep time, I'll thoughtfully tidy the getting ready space and guide a few sweet moments, like a photo with Mom.
I'm entirely unobtrusive during your ceremony - though I'll encourage that perfect kiss at the end of the aisle! I'll capture the natural flow for reception moments like special dances and toasts, only stepping in to direct during planned photo moments like cake cutting.

Once your entire gallery is ready, I'll design your initial album proof using my expert judgment to select the photos. You'll have two weeks to request any changes you'd like, either directly through the album proof website or via email. After we've finalized the design together, I'll personally review your album when it arrives and send it your way shortly after.
