Spring is here – flowers blooming, birds singing, and warmer breezes blowing. What better time for a maternity session? I was so so SO thrilled when Nat asked me if I was available for her maternity photos. She’s due any day now (literally – she even thought she was going into labor in the middle of last week!) so she was plenty round and GLOWING for our session just this past Saturday. We decided on an Old Town Alexandria maternity session because it holds sentimental value as the two of them had their wedding portraits at Waterfront Park, and because we wanted to go somewhere with the beautiful flowers still blooming. And we found plenty! You really can’t go wrong with a session in Old Town Alexandria, with its wide variety of settings – we were able to get romantic florals, urban walls, and charming cobblestones all within a few yards of walking to keep things easy on this mama. Not even sorry for how long this post is going to be because we got an insane number of gorgeous photos in less than an hour of shooting. This is one of my favorite places and I’m so excited to share this session with you all!
