You may recognize this grad from a session I recently did for her and her boyfriend in Alexandria.  This girl graduated from the nursing program at Marymount University this spring and I am so incredibly proud of her!  In case you don’t know, MU has a very competitive nursing program and Christy had to work her butt off studying while working at a local hospital and still finding time for her boyfriend and her band BabeRage.  Since graduating, she passed her NCLEX (the big scary nursing test) and accepted a Critical Care Nurse Residency at Reston Hospital.

We started with a morning session at the Jefferson Memorial.  Did you know that there’s hardly anyone there on Sunday mornings, even well after sunrise?  It was incredible to shoot around there when it was warm, golden light, and only a handful of tourists around!

After shooting in DC we went back to Marymount to get some photos on campus.  MU is in Arlington and has a small campus so we were able to get a whole bunch of photos in a very short period of time.  It’s so much fun to do college senior grad sessions there, because some of those locations are so personal to the student’s experience – for Christy, that meant stopping by the chapel and the plaza by the nursing school in addition to the picturesque Main House and Rowley Hall patio overlooking DC.

Doesn’t Christy look like a freaking model for a scrubs company in these next photos??? She’s too photogenic and her scrubs are too great.
