Brianne and Kevin had a beautiful intimate wedding at The Sun Room in Washington, DC. You may remember seeing these two from their engagement session earlier this year! We took their engagement photos around their neighborhood of Capitol Hill in DC and it was so lovely! I knew their wedding day would be amazing, and it was!

Brianne and Kevin met online. Brianne had noticed that in his profile photo, Kevin was wearing a pin supporting biking as transportation and as an avid cycler herself she decided she had to reach out! It was practically love at first sight.

Her family owns an AirBnB in Capitol Hill, making it the perfect place for her to get ready on the wedding day. I especially loved the spiral staircase in the living room. It was the perfect place to hang her wedding dress for a photo!

Brianne and Kevin decided to do a first look together on their wedding day. This allowed them to spend more time together and get lots of photos done before the ceremony. They shared this special moment at Crispus Attucks Park just around the corner. After their first look, they read private vows to each other on a bench in a tucked away little corner of the park. This was such a sweet moment for these two to share on their wedding day!

After the private vows, we walked down the street to the coffee shop The Royal where they had their first date (and many more after)! The staff was so kind and happy to let us take some photos inside at the bar with a little champagne toast. It’s not every day I get to photograph a bride and groom in a cute coffee shop or bar, so this was so much fun!

They held their ceremony and reception at The Sun Room in Washington, DC. Their ceremony was short and sweet, officiated by family members. They had a wall of candles and colorful flowers in bud vases as a beautiful backdrop.

During their reception, I absolutely loved that they used a local pizza place for their catering! It was the first time I’ve been to a wedding where they served pizza, and it was delicious! I love that they found so many special ways to make their wedding day fun and unique to their personalities.
