Welcome to Beauty of the Soul Studio. Led by photographer Emily, we were founded to fill the need for wedding photography "for the intentional" - the brides + grooms who are choosing to celebrate their marriage, not just throw a good party. Our goal is always to capture the beauty of the "soul" of your wedding with bright, bold, and romantic photography.

I often shoot happy couples celebrating their wedding day, so this event was a heartwarming divergence from that norm. Three young women from the Women Youth Apostle community in McLean, Virginia decided to make or renew their commitments to lay consecrated life. That means these three women have made vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience to the Church and to the Youth Apostles community. I happen to know these ladies very well personally and seeing them make such beautiful vows to our Lord was humbling, especially sitting beside my husband and reflecting on how different but equally beautiful our vocations are. Knowing that these three are committed to praying for and with the young people of the Diocese of Arlington, leading them through youth groups and diocesan events, is reassuring for the future of our Church. It was an honor to capture this ceremony
