Stunning florals, a beautiful church, and a joyful wedding party all helped make Rebekah and Dominic’s summer wedding all the more memorable. The pair chose to start their day with a sweet first look in the back of the church, allowing them the chance to spend a few minutes in prayer together inside the church. They opted to go with the oft-overlooked option of walking down the aisle side by side which was a beautiful change of pace from most modern weddings! As Rebekah is a member of the Women Youth Apostles, their ceremony was concelebrated by a few priests but primarily by Fr. Jack Peterson, YA who was actually the celebrant at my own wedding. Also in attendance was one of my close friends Sara and her husband Matt, whose wedding I had photographed just a few short months prior!
After a beautiful wedding mass and portraits inside the church, we traveled over to Regency at Dominion Valley in Haymarket, Virginia. We had a gorgeous sunny day and it was so much fun to photograph this wedding party! Dominic comes from a large family, so most of the wedding party was siblings, and it’s always so special to see siblings act as the hype party for a bride and groom. We had a blast photographing the wedding party portraits, and it was wonderful to see Rebekah and Dominic slow down and enjoy their bride and groom portrait time before their reception began. I especially loved getting to photograph Rebekah’s stunning bouquet – if you know me, you know I love a colorful wedding palette and these flowers did not disappoint!
It was such an honor to celebrate alongside Rebekah and Dominic for their beautiful Catholic wedding in Northern Virginia!
