I’ve always been hesitant to do family portraits. Not because I don’t like kids, but because I find family portraits to be so valuable and I’m terrified of messing up what could be a family’s only chance to get photos for a while! I won’t lie – I was nervous to accept when the Nutaitis family asked me to capture their whole family instead of just the adults. But when I heard their girls are 2 and 4 years old I just couldn’t say no!

We ended up having a blast letting the girls run around the adorable park in historic Clifton, Virginia, posing for photos when we had a chance but mostly just laughing at how much fun they were having despite the cold (it was like 45 degrees out)!
