Elena and John had a beautiful red and green Christmas wedding at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and the Marriott in Bethesda. I am so excited to share some highlights from their winter wedding day.

They had a traditional religious ceremony at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Bethesda, Maryland. It was a beautiful Christmas wedding! The church was decked out in poinsettias, garland, wreaths, and Christmas trees which made the church an extra special backdrop for their wedding. It felt festive and romantic.

Elena and John got engaged in a garden just outside the church. Since that location is so special to them, that’s where we took their engagement photos too! The wedding was in the morning so they could have a brunch reception at the Marriott. A brunch reception means fun brunch foods – including an omelet bar! I think this was a fun spin on traditional wedding receptions, and all the guests seemed to love enjoying brunch!

The reception hall at the Marriott was decorated with red details to match their Christmas wedding theme. Their reception also had a jazz band to keep the place lively and guests on the dance floor. The classy vibe of the reception matched the couple’s style perfectly!

We were able to sneak away from the reception for some beautiful modern bride and groom portraits at the hotel. This was the perfect location for them to get some beautiful portraits with natural lighting, without the cold weather!
