One of my favorite things is discovering a new wedding venue that turns out to be a charming, high-quality location for a wedding day. Amber Grove is nestled into a suburb of Richmond, Virginia (and is actually only 10 minutes away from my parents’ house which was super convenient for me!) and despite its small town location it comes with an incredibly warm staff, a surprisingly stunning barn ceremony site, delicious food, and gorgeous views. It was the perfect spot for Rachel and Jon’s sweet and simple country fall wedding and I was excited to experience a wedding at Amber Grove for the first time while working with 88 Love Stories Photography again.

Rachel and Jon were the cutest couple – you could feel and see their joy throughout the day – nerves while getting ready for the ceremony, an excited big kiss at the end of the ceremony, plenty of snuggly moments during portraits, and the sweetest first dance, just to name a few moments. Their major size difference, with Jon super tall and Rachel a tiny bride, made them all the more adorable (and added some goofy moments to their big day).
