Nicole and Sam had a beautiful summer wedding at St. Joseph Catholic Church and Rose Hill Manor in Leesburg, Virginia. These two are the sweetest people and their wedding day was so full of love and FUN! This wedding was shot by my wonderful associate shooter, Jo, while I was on maternity leave. I am so grateful she was able to take such wonderful care of these two and be there to capture there beautiful wedding day!

Like so many of my clients nowadays, Nicole and Sam met online. It was the perfect match! They live here in Northern Virginia, but he proposed while on a family trip to Lake George, NY. After celebrating their engagement, they jumped into planning their dream summer wedding day.

They had a traditional catholic ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church. After their ceremony, everyone headed over to the beautiful Rose Hill Manor for a wonderful wedding reception. I loved their vibrant pink floral theme and all the flowers they had! There were even pink and white flowers blooming on the grounds of the estate. Rose Hill Manor has the most beautiful floral gardens. It was the perfect place to take bride and groom portraits after the ceremony

Their reception was full of fun and lots of dancing! To go along with their theme of pink, there were pink DJ lights and up lighting throughout the ballroom. It was perfect for a great party atmosphere. At the end of the night, they had a reception exit with artificial sparkler wands that glow in the dark. It was such a fun alternative to sparklers.
