Old Town Alexandria Fall Couples Portraits – Christy and Kyle

 

If you like quirky and cute couples that are genuinely head-over-heels for each other, then you’ll love Christy and Kyle.  I’ve been friends with Christy since she transferred from George Mason University to Marymount University a couple of years ago.  When I met my fiance Peter last year, I soon noticed that we had a mutual Facebook friend in Christy – and it turns out that she knew him through Catholic Campus Ministry at George Mason before she transferred!  She’s been a sweet friend, and will even be singing at our wedding in May.

We did a fall session in Old Town Alexandria.  A session that was only supposed to last about twenty minutes ended up going on for an hour because we were having so much fun!

Christy and Kyle are adorably goofy and I think these photos are a pretty great reflection of their personalities!

This yellow wall is now one of my favorite photo spots in Old Town Alexandria.  It adds such a fun pop of color and a bit of modern relief from the picturesque but antique style of the rest of Old Town.  You can expect to see it come up again in future shoots!
