Sarah and Max

Sunflower-filled Catholic Wedding in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Ceremony venue: St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia
Reception venue: Stevenson Ridge

Sunny sunflowers brought cheer throughout the wedding day. That cheerfulness extended to every participant in the celebration - from the bride and groom to their large 21-person wedding party.

I am speechless! These pictures-they take my breath away! So gorgeous! You captured so much beauty and emotion in these photos!"

Beautiful Details

Sarah got ready for the wedding at a family member's home and tucked into a corner of the primary bedroom, the perfect little space to get dressed with an image of Mary watching over her. It brought "getting ready with Mom" to a whole new level as Sarah's earthly mother and her heavenly Mother both watched over her as she put the finishing touches on her wedding day attire.

Stevenson Ridge is a beautiful venue with a rustic yet open and airy atmosphere. The abundance of natural light made their sunny decor shine.

Memorable Moments

Sarah and Max chose to do a private last dance at the end of the night, which is one of my very favorite wedding trends. The pair soaked in the final moments together in the reception they had spent so much time and heart preparing, before joining their guests outside for a sparkler sendoff to add a magical ending to a fairytale wedding day.
