Molly and Drew wanted an engagement session that felt natural yet polished. We opted for a backdrop of the rolling hills of Virginia farmland but curated it to feature a bouquet of pink flowers and a picnic setup.

The engagement session took place at Sky Meadows State Park. We were surprised to find that the area popularized online for portrait sessions is actually a working farm. A herd of cows greeted us! Once we were settled for a little while, the cows dispersed. The park is stunning, even on an overcast day like we experienced.

Molly and Drew brought a picnic blanket, basket, and a bouquet of flowers. I loved the intimate and playful vibe that the props brought to the photos! Molly's dress and jewelry were also beautiful, and I loved how soft and romantic her look was. At the end of the session, it began to sprinkle on us - nothing we couldn't handle. But as the light rain ended, we were surprised with a beautiful rainbow! It was such a gift at the end of an already incredible engagement session.
