Venue: Blue Hill Farm
Dani and Connor's wedding was a vibrant and whimsical day. The wedding perfectly combined the rustic charm of the venue's farmhouse, rolling hills, and barn reception with modern playful elements like colorful flowers and the couple's "flower pup" Wavey. It was one of the most celebratory-feeling weddings I've ever been to, with every guest wholeheartedly joyful and ready to party!
Blue Hill Farm is a stunning property across the board, but it was especially captivating to photograph Dani and Connor's golden hour portraits under a weeping willow. The sunlight filtered through the branches beautifully, giving their portraits a magical quality that perfectly fit a magical wedding day.
Dani and Connor's reception was a unique blend of modern and rustic elements that were understated but thoughtful. They embraced the warm wooden tones of the updated barn setting with farmhouse tables and beautiful wooden chairs but included pops of color with flowers and vibrant blue napkins. A hand-lettered stone acted as a place card for each seat, adding a whimsical touch that I'd never seen done before!
The couple incorporated their beloved dog Wavey into their day, bringing so much joy to everyone present! Wavey was the "flower pup" walking - or rather, running headfirst - down the aisle at the ceremony. But she also had her signature drink at the reception - Wavey's "Pup"erol Spritz - and featured her likeness on the can koozie wedding favors.
Another very unique part of Dani and Connor's celebration is that Dani's brother gifted them with a shot ski at their reception, and boy was it popular! Guests were having a blast with the novelty of it but I will always remember watching the parents of the bride and parents of the groom all doing a shot with the shot ski together; it was an unexpectedly heartwarming event to see the two families really coming together in such a fun way!

"How can we even express how grateful we are to have had Emily capture our wedding day?! She is amazing in every way. We knew we wanted someone who focused on a mixture of both candid moments and posed photos. Emily was able to do just that- she gave wonderful suggestions and hints for posing during portraits while also capturing the most fun, candid images."
"Since we live out of state, we had not met Emily prior to our wedding day; however, you would never know because she was so friendly, inviting, and easy going from the second we met her, making her feel like a friend from the start!"
"During the reception, she seemed to just blend in with the party/guests, having fun and capturing so many special moments; you can tell she just really enjoys her job, which makes it so much more special."
"Emily is so talented behind the camera & finding the most unique and beautiful angles/backdrops, as well as with editing the final pictures. We can never thank her enough, as she delivered everything we wanted and more!"
